Washing & Brushing Guide - 72hours after

  • You must wait at least 72 hours before washing your hair.

  • Gentle Cleansing:  In the weeks following your perm, switch to a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo.  This type of shampoo cleans without stripping away natural oils, which your hair needs to recover from perming before and after process.

  • Moisturize and Condition:  Use a deep conditioner or a hair mask at least once a week.  This step is crucial for replenishing moisture and keeping your curls defined and bouncy. â€‹

  • While hair wet, gently absorb water with a micro-fiber towel & use a wide tooth comb to refresh your curls before styling.

Styling & Maintenance Guide

  • Avoid Heat Styling:  Give your hair a break from heat styling tools.  If you must use them, apply a heat protectant spray to minimize damage.

    • Scene North Salon will recommend your hair product needs to keep your curls moisturized & healthy.

  • Trim Regularly:  Regular trims are essential to keep split ends at bay and maintain the health of your perm.  This also ensures your curls look fresh and well-maintained.
